We’re hiring a Data Infrastructure Software Developer with a front-end focus to develop intuitive, reliable, and secure web applications that bring our data to life. As part of the Data Operations team, you’ll work at the intersection of biotech and software, building tools used by our internal teams, customers, and external partners. This includes applications that surface operational data, track production metrics, visualize quality results, and support customer interactions. You may also interface with backend APIs, influence data models, or prototype new workflows alongside scientists and product managers. Key Responsibilities
- Develop responsive and user-friendly front-end interfaces for internal and external web applications
- Collaborate with Data Operation team to integrate APIs, databases, and data services
- Translate complex biological and operational workflows into clear, intuitive user experiences
- Build dashboards, visualization tools, and data-driven interfaces for production, QC, R&D, and customer applications
- Contribute to UI/UX decisions, component libraries, and design patterns
- Participate in cross-functional discussions to understand user needs (scientists, operators, business, customers)
- Support rapid iteration, prototyping, and continuous improvement of digital tools
- Writing tests, component testing, end-to-end testing
- Wear multiple hats: from refining requirements to implementing features, fixing bugs, and improving performance
Qualifications
- 2–5+ years of experience in front-end development (professional or strong project-based)
- Proficiency with a modern front-end framework (Next.js/React, Vue, Angular)
- Strong skills in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML/CSS, and component-based architectures
- Experience integrating with REST APIs
- Ability to own features end-to-end in a fast-paced startup environment
- Strong problem-solving ability and willingness to dive into unfamiliar territory
- Clear communication and comfort collaborating across technical and scientific teams
Knowledge & Skills Abilities
- Experience building data-heavy products or dashboards
- Familiarity with data visualization libraries (e.g., Plotly, D3)
- Exposure to backend concepts (Python FastAPI, Node.js, SQL/NoSQL databases)
- Interest or experience in biotech, bioinformatics, lab operations, or manufacturing
- Experience with authentication/authorization, role-based access, or customer portals
- Understanding of product thinking and UX principles

Annual gross salary starting from EUR 50.000,- depending on qualification and experience.
