Job Description

As a Photonics Engineer at vitreaLab, you will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of tasks across the development lifecycle of our products. Your responsibilities may include designing, fabricating, testing, and prototyping photonic integrated circuits and polymer-based micro-optics, developing pilot-line fabrication processes, and designing, assembling and validating high-performance light engines.

Prerequisites

BSc, MSc or PhD degree in Physics or Engineering, ideally with an optics background. Preferred skills include expertise in photonics design and simulation tools (e.g., Zemax, LightTools), hands-on experience in optical fabrication and laser handling, familiarity with pilot-line process development or micro-optics assembly, and knowledge of AR display technologies. Strong problem-solving skills, the ability to thrive in a dynamic team, think independently, adapt to fast-changing environments, and demonstrate creativity are highly valued.
